Centralny Port Komunikacyjny Airport

A consortium of Vinci Airports and IFM Global Infrastructure Fund will invest in a new airport being built near Poland’s capital Warsaw.

The Polish government plans to retain a 51% ownership stake in Warsaw's CPK, with the strategic partner holding 49% and taking the lead in airport development.

The company behind Poland’s planned new airport near Warsaw has taken over Polish Airports (PPL), the group that owns Warsaw Chopin Airport.

Poland is targeting a 2028 opening for Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK), which will have two runways and capacity to handle 40 million passengers annually.

The Polish Infrastructure Ministry has approved the “general plan” for a new Warsaw airport, with a 2028 opening date for the transport hub in their sights.
