Abacus licenses Microsoft software in Singapore
Abacus Distribution Systems signed a (Singapore) $7 million deal with Microsoft Singapore to license Microsoft's Windows NT Server and relational database software, SQL Server, for the AbacusWhiz intelligent workstation. Abacus has more than 6,600 travel agency customers in the Asia/Pacific region.
