VIP Completions, an aircraft completion and refurbishment provider, has completed its largest project to date, an extensive refurbishment of a private Boeing 767. (See below for a virtual tour.)
The recipient of the upgraded jet is Miami entrepreneur, businessman, and attorney John Ruiz, founder and CEO of LifeWallet and its parent company, MSP Recovery. The 767 marks the fourth project that VIP Completions has delivered to Ruiz.
Previous projects include refurbishments of a Gulfstream GIVSP, Cessna Citation X and a Gulfstream G550. A fifth project is underway on a Sikorsky S-92A.
“This project is the realization of my dream to create a unique private aircraft for business, pleasure and family travel,” says Ruiz. “Truly a flying home, it mirrors our tastes and preferences, including my love of entertaining. I am very pleased with the final results and thank the VIP Completions team for their amazing attention to detail.”
The refurbished 767 can accommodate 33 passengers with space to sleep for 16. There are six living spaces and four lavatories.
The six living spaces include a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, two private lounges, an entertainment area with an 80-in. home cinema and DJ plug-ins, a dining area with seating for seven and a conference area with seating for eight. Two lavatories have full stand-up showers.
The design is described by the company to be bright and modern, with highlighted colors including grey, off-white, taupe, and sable. All passenger touchpoints are controlled by an iPad-enabled cabin management system.
