Routes Americas Awards
There is still time to vote or campaign to your airlines in the first regional heat of the 2014 Routes Awards.
Airlines from within the Americas region should consider the efficient use of marketing activities by an airport over the last 12 months when deciding who to nominate. The annual Routes awards are highly regarded as the most prestigious awards in the industry as they are voted for and judged by the airline network planning community. These much sought after awards are a great way for the winning airports to have a credible recognition which they can proudly talk about to their customers and other stakeholders.
Winners of the awards, which recognise the marketing performance of airports within the Americas, will be announced during the Routes Americas Networking Evening which will be held on Monday 25th February at the event in San Salvador.
Simply click here and log in to your Routesonline profile to nominate (in priority order) up to five airports in your network within the Americas, irrespective of their size. Voting will remain open until Wednesday 12th February 2014 and shortlisted airports will be announced shortly after this deadline.
Hotel and flight information
If you have not yet secured your flights and hotel reservation, you should do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. This year’s event will be held at the Sheraton Presidente San Salvador which is ideally located in the heart of the city’s most exclusive stores, bars and restaurants.
There are many hotels to choose from in San Salvador but, during Routes Americas, we recommend staying in either the event hotel which is now fully booked or the Hilton Princess which, located only a two minute drive from the event venue, is the other Routes Americas official hotel. Here, delegates will benefit from preferential rates and complimentary transfers to the event venue, networking evening and El Salvador International Airport. Click here for more information and to book your Routes Americas hotel accommodation.
We are also delighted to announce that Avianca will once again be supporting Routes Americas by signing on as the event official carrier and is pleased to be able to extend a discount of up to 20% to all Routes Americas delegates travelling to San Salvador. To purchase these tickets, delegates should contact their local call centre travel agent or visit www.avianca.com.
