We are delighted to announce that three Route Exchange Briefings will be delivered at this year’s Routes Africa.
The first briefing will take place on Monday 8th at 14.50 and is presented by Cornwell Muleya, Chief Executive Officer of Air Uganda. Cornwell Muleya will deliver a Route Exchange briefing to outline opportunities in their network and inform the airports how they plan and what information they require which would be useful for any future evaluation of new route opportunities.
The following day opens with Richard Bodin, Chief Commercial Officer for Fastjet who will be discussing the need for greater liberalisation of the aviation market across the African continent. Richard Bodin will also be presenting Fastjet’s growth strategy plans and their achievements so far since inception in 2011. This briefing will ends with a frank and honest view of the barriers Fastjet have encountered so far and where their future plans hope to take them.
The last briefing will take place late Tuesday morning and will be delivered by Kenya Airways’ Jimmy Kibati, Head of Network Planning & Airline Strategy. He will outline markets of interest and exactly what data is needed for considering any future routes, along with this Jimmy Kibati will give a brief review of their company along with the company structure.
