ASM is hosting a special training event in December to mark its 25th anniversary, which will offer aviation professionals the chance to learn, share knowledge and insight, and explore the key drivers that will shape the industry over the next 25 years.
Along with classroom style sessions and new technology demonstrations, the two-day Fundamentals of Route Development Training Event will include a line up of senior airline, airport and industry guests who will be presenting their experiences of current and future trends set to impact the world of route development, network planning and marketing.
Nine speakers will be present at the anniversary event, including Laurie Berryman, Emirates’ Former UK and Ireland general manager, and Gabriel Schmilovich, Vueling’s director of network strategy, development and planning.
Berryman will be sharing his views into the three largest Middle Eastern carriers, focusing on their strategies, future development plans and their impact on airports, while Schmilovich will be discussing the importance of airport incentives along with key advice for delegates when presenting to airlines.
A talk will also be given by Brussels Airport’s head of aviation development, Léon Verhallen, who will share his experience of how airport marketing has developed over the years, and will provide his top tips for understanding your market.
