Taking place on Sunday 12th April 2015 and open to all attending delegates, The Routes Europe Strategy Summit will open Routes Europe in Aberdeen. Sponsored by Embraer, the Strategy Summit will provide a valuable insight into aviation across the region as panels of leading industry experts take part in a number of moderator led panel sessions addressing key air service development issues affecting commercial aviation across the European region.
Malcolm Roughead, Chief Executive, VisitScotland will deliver the Keynote Address at the Strategy Summit, followed by a presentation by John Grant, Executive Vice President of Data and Market Intelligence for OAG addressing airline trends across Europe.
The specially developed content of the event and interactive format ensures that the Strategy Summit is a popular element of the event. Session one, entitled LCCs – the game changers in Europe will comprise of a two part session with the discussions focussing on Low Cost Carriers as Europe’s growth engine and looking at how legacy carriers are competing with LCC growth.
During the second session; Investments Partnerships and Acquisitions...The Changing Skies of Europe the discussion will cover what changes might occur for European airlines in the next five years as well as continuing the debate over flying rights for Middle Eastern carriers. Once again, a number of presentations will also feature as an important part of the Strategy Summit including a Presentation from our strategy summit sponsor, Embraer and a case study presentation entitled Lithuanian airport network – challenges after the merger which will be delivered by Jurate Baltrusaityte, Chief Commercial Officer for Enterprise Lithuanian Airports. Also featured, following panel session one will be a presentation delivered by ASM’s managing director, David Stroud who will discuss the importance of preparing ‘The Perfect Presentation’ ahead of your face-to-face meetings.
Routes Europe attracts the industry’s key decision makers and is the must attend event for all those interested in meeting with the industry's key players. The event, which is the annual gathering of air service decision makers for the entire European region, is expected to attract up to 1,300 aviation professionals with representation from 125 airlines, 450 airports and 30 tourism authorities along with a number of other industry stakeholders to discuss air service development.
