The 8th Routes Africa takes place on the 7th and 9th of July, hosted by Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda and Entebbe International Airport. Almost 200 delegates have already registered, representing over 30 airlines and over 40 airports, along with nine tourism authorities. This event will bring together the region’s leading aviation and tourism route development professionals to Kampala, Uganda.
Key carriers already registered and accepting meetings at Routes Africa consist of both in-and-out of region carriers such as ; GOL Transportes, British Airways, South African Airways, Vueling, Etihad Airways, Kenya Airways, Air Uganda, Ethiopian Airlines, Fastjet, EgyptAir, United Airlines and China Southern Airlines. As well as key airlines attending, the senior tourism delegates include Michael Mabuyakhulu, MPP, Kwa-Zulu Natal the Hon. Maria Mutagamba, Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Uganda; Cuthbert Baguma, CEO of Tourism Uganda and Dr Andrew Seguya, Executive Director, Wildlife Authority, Uganda and Joyce Kigosi, Operations Manager from The Gorilla Organisation who will be receiving the funds raised by the Routes team from the Manchester 10 kilometre run that was recently completed.
The Routes Africa Strategy Summit also consists of senior aviation professionals from a range for airlines and governing bodies, these include key figures such as Dr W.
