Sponsored by Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, this year’s Saturday Reception will be a very special networking event. Filled with Dutch hospitality, music, food, drinks and many other surprises, the reception will celebrate Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s 100th birthday. Taking place at the 5* Shangri-La hotel, the evening will provide delegates with a relaxed environment in which to connect with their industry peers ahead of the main business days of World Routes.
The World Routes Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday 25 September at the event venue, the Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition & Convention Centre. Hosted by the CDIA, the reception will allow the World Routes delegation to network in an informal environment after the first full day of meetings.
The Networking Evening and the World Routes Marketing awards will be held on Monday 26 September in the New Century Global Center, the world’s largest freestanding building. Measuring over 500m long, 400m wide and 100m high, the New Century Global Center is large enough to hold the Sydney Opera House twenty times over. The venue will provide an impressive backdrop for the industry’s most coveted accolades, the World Routes Marketing Awards. View the shortlist for the World Routes 2016 Marketing Awards.
The Farewell Reception will be hosted by the Government of Catalonia, the host of World Routes 2017. Delegates will be treated to a taste of the Catalonian hospitality that they will experience when they attend World Routes 2017 in Barcelona. The reception will take place on Tuesday 27 September.
Over 3,000 delegates are expected to attend this year’s event. Find out more about the comprehensive hospitality programme available to World Routes delegates.
