Norwegian has announced further expansion to the UK, with three new routes set to launch from Edinburgh and Birmingham Airports to the Canary Islands.
The airline will launch a new twice-weekly service between Edinburgh and Tenerife South on October 29 on Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights will depart Edinburgh at 15:30pm, arriving into Tenerife at 20:15pm. The return flight will depart Tenerife at 10:00am, arriving back into the Scottish capital at 14:30pm.

Our network from the UK now extends to 58 destinations worldwide,” said Thomas Ramdahl, Norwegian’s Chief Commercial Officer.
From November 2, 2015, Norwegian will operate a new link between Birmingham and Tenerife South twice weekly, to operate on Mondays and Fridays. Departing Birmingham at 18:15, the service will arrive into Tenerife at 22:25pm. The return flight will depart at 13:15pm, arriving back into the UK city at 17:30pm.
Finally, the airline will commence a new service between Birmingham and Las Palmas weekly, to operate every Friday. Departing Birmingham at 18:10pm, the service will arrive into Gran Canaria at 22:30pm. The return service will depart Las Palmas at 13:10pm and will arrive into Birmingham at 17:30pm.
“We are looking forward to welcoming new and returning customers on our routes to the Canary Islands and San Juan in Puerto Rico from winter 2015,” added Thomas Ramdahl.
The airline has also added frequencies on existing routes from London Gatwick including its service to Los Angeles which will benefit from 3 weekly flights instead of 2 from October 25, 2015.
Due to the positive response on the airline’s routes from London Gatwick to Berlin and Rome, Norwegian is also adding more weekly flights on these routes, with two daily flight between London and Berlin on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and daily flight between London and Rome.
