Taking place 1 – 3 February in Denver, Colorado, USA, the 8th Routes Americas event attracts the highest level of senior decision makers.
Now only three weeks away, the event is expected to attract representation from over 70 airlines, 200 airports and over 30 tourism authorities along with a number of other industry stakeholders from across the Americas to discuss air service development.
Currently over 60 airlines, represented by senior delegations, have confirmed their attendance at the event in Denver. The most recent registrations include: Seaborne Airlines, Canada Jetlines, Silver Airways and Southwest Airlines. Canada’s two largest airlines, WestJet and Air Canada have also confirmed their attendance.
The event will see strong representation from Latin America carriers with Aeromexico, Avianca, Interjet, GOL, Vivaaerobus, Volaris, Insel Air, COPA, Caribbean Airlies, Surinam Airways and InterCarribean Airlines all registered to attend the event. A total of fifteen out of the region carriers will also be represented at the event including Turkish Airlines, Norwegian, China Southern Airlines, British Airways and Ethiopian Airways. Over 250 airport delegates representing over 200 airports have also registered to attend the event. During the last few weeks new registrations have been received from a number airports and tourism authorities including Chicago Rockford International Airport, Bellingham International Airport, Caribbean Tourism Organization, Punta Cana International Airport and EAAI, Nicaragua. A number of airports and tourism authorities will be attending Routes Americas for the first time in 2015 including Will Rogers World Airport, North Central West Virginia Airport, Düsseldorf Airport, Dublin Airport, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority and Ministry of Tourism of Dominican Republic.
In addition to the Face-to-Face Meetings which form the core of the event Routes Americas will open with the Routes Americas Strategy Summit. Many high level industry speakers will take part in the Strategy Summit including John Byerly, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the U.S. State Department and Courtney Miller, Regional Manager for the Americas at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft along airport CEOs and other experts in the field.
The packed event programme also includes many opportunities for delegates to network at the various social events taking place including the Host Welcome Reception and the Networking Evening.
