World Routes comes to the USA for the first time in October when the 19thWorld Route Development Forum takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada and registrations are coming in thick and fast for the event, which will take place on 5-8 October 2013 co-hosted by Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport.
World Routes is the largest and most important commercial aviation networking forum of its kind with low-cost, charter, regional and flag carriers all in attendance and represented by delegates who are responsible for making decisions on both new and existing routes.
Early registrations indicate a strong presence from all regions with more than 120 carriers already registered to attend, including Air Canada, British Airways, AirAsia X, easyJet, UPS, Delta Air Lines, Vietnam Airlines, Southwest, Emirates, Allegiant, Etihad, COPA Airlines, Virgin America, Volaris, China Airlines, All Nippon and American Airlines. Most recently registrations have been received from Oman Air, S7 Airlines, Japan Airlines, Shamrock Express and MasKargo.
Over 600 airport delegates representing almost 350 airports from around the world have also registered to attend the event. Registrations received so far include San Francisco International Airport, Montego Bay International Airport, Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Trieste Airport, Egyptian Airports Company, Dubai Airports, Cairns Airport and Bristol Airport amongst many others. Further airports and tourism authorities who have registered during the past few days include Akron-Canton Airport, Los Angeles World Airports, Friedrichshafen Airport and Travel Alberta.
