Taking place 12 – 14 April, Routes Europe continues to grow at a tremendous rate, and with over 100 airlines, 350 airports and 45 tourism authorities currently registered, the event is essential for professionals interested in developing air services to, from and within the European region.
The event revolves around pre-scheduled Face-to-Face Meetings and with almost 4,000 route development meetings already scheduled to take place over three days, the event offers an unrivalled platform for airlines and airports to do business face-to-face with the key decision makers in the industry.
Routes Europe 2015 will also feature over 40 exhibitors, of which 15 are returning exhibitors following the immense success of last year’s event.
Route Exchange Airline Briefings will, once again, be a key feature of the event. These live airline briefings from key carriers and senior personnel will outline opportunities for airline growth, provide an opportunity to discuss their requirements to their target airport market and invite airports to bid for new service. This year, attendees can expect to hear Route Exchange Briefings from easyJet, WestJet and Monarch.
In addition, The Routes Europe Strategy Summit will spark interesting and insightful debate when it opens Routes Europe on Sunday 12 April. Around 15 high-level speakers from Europe and beyond will provide their insights into “the changing skies of Europe”, and what the fast expansion of low-cost carriers and the Gulf airlines mean for Europe’s legacy carriers. Malcolm Roughead, Chief Executive, VisitScotland will deliver the Keynote Address whilst other speakers include Fernando Estrada, Strategy and Alliances Director, Vueling Airlines; Jens Boyd, Group Director Long Haul Network and Revenue Management, Thomas Cook Group Airlines; Kam Jandu, Chief Commercial Officer, Budapest Airport; Simon McNamara, Director General, European Regions Airline Association (ERAA) and Jurate Baltrusaityte, Chief Commercial Officer, Enterprise Lithuanian Airports. The focus of the global debate on the future of air travel is currently on Europe. The continent’s response to the multiple challenges to its network carriers will shape the international air transport debate for years to come.
The packed event programme also includes many opportunities for delegates to network at the various social events taking place including the Host Welcome Reception and the Networking Evening.
