Routes Silk Road, which, this year, will be held for the first time instead of Routes CIS, will take place 6-8 July in Tbilisi, the beautiful and historic capital of Georgia.
Located at the crossroad of Europe and Asia, Georgia is a unique and diverse country with a land area of only 70,000 square kilometres mixing an ancient, rich culture with beautiful natural landscapes. Georgia boasts 12,000 historical and cultural monuments, 14 strict nature reserves and 8 national parks. In addition the country is one of the oldest Christian countries and the birthplace of the first European civilisation with the discovery of 1.8 million year old human remains in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains.
In addition to the core business elements of Routes Silk Road our Host, United Airports of Georgia, and its partners have kindly arranged two complimentary tours and we recommend all delegates make time to explore the city and surrounding area.
