The refurbished A330 fleet will operate the Thomas Cook long-haul programme from Manchester, Stansted, Glasgow, Gatwick and Belfast to destinations including New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Cancun and Barbados.
The economy cabin will feature ergonomically designed lightweight seating, with high-quality fabric covers to optimize comfort. Each passenger will also have access to an 8.9” touch screen monitor with an on-demand selection of blockbuster films and TV shows.
Customers will also receive a three-course meal designed by celebrity chef James Martin, with an additional light meal or snack; 23kg hold luggage (20kg for non-US flights) and 6kg hand luggage.
The airlines four Manchester-based aircrafts will feature the new Premium cabins, which offer more legroom, improved seat widths, and personal in-arm tray tables. Premium passengers will also receive the 8.9” touch screen monitor, but with a wider variety of films and TV shows.
Premium customers have a larger baggage allowance, with 2x23kg hold luggage, (1x30kg for non-US routes) and 10kg hand luggage. They will also receive premium check-in and boarding, fast-track security and a welcome drink.
Finally, premium passengers get additional free drinks throughout the flight, a complimentary amenity kit and headphones, and access to free magazines and newspapers.
Thomas Cook Airlines UK CEO, Christoph Debus said: “It’s great news for our long haul customers in 2015 that they will experience our new and significantly enhanced on-board cabins and service.”
The four-aircraft fleet offer 273 Economy seats, and a 49- seat Premium cabin which is designed in a 2-3-2 configuration.

The travel company will launch the brand new Premium and Economy service in May 2015.

The above data shows the destinations Thomas Cook A330’s have flown to throughout 2014 so far- and clearly indicates that Manchester (MAN) has the highest frequency of flights compared to other destinations, accounting for 34.7% of Thomas Cook A330 flights.
