Chen Chuanren is the Southeast Asia and China Editor for the Aviation Week Network’s (AWN) Air Transport World (ATW) and the Asia-Pacific Defense Correspondent for AWN, joining the team in 2017.
Prior joining AWN, Chuanren was a regular serviceman in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Air Defense and Operations Command. He now serves the RSAF Air Force Information Center as a reservist. He holds a Bachelor of Mass Communications as well as a Diploma in Mechatronics (Aerospace).
China Eastern Airlines will begin revamping its frequent flyer program “Eastern Miles” from a mile-based system to a revenue-based one in the second half of 2020.
To better synchronize and promote airport and development in the Philippines, the country’s Department of Tourism (DOT) and Department of Transportation (DOTr) signed a memorandum of agreement Jan. 8 for the “Institutionalized Leveraging of Infrastructure Program for Airport Development (iLIPAD).”
