Based in Paris, Helen Massy-Beresford covers European and Middle Eastern airlines, the European Commission’s air transport policy and the air cargo industry for Aviation Week & Space Technology and Aviation Daily.

The airline group will issue 1.93 million new shares and said it intends to “free itself” from the European conditions that govern the state aid it was awarded earlier on in the pandemic.
