Full-time-equivalent (FTE) employment at US scheduled passenger airlines grew 1.4% year-over-year (YOY) in December, to a total FTE count of 386,219 personnel, according to the US Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS).
Outsourced air services provider Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings (AAWW) reported full-year consolidated net income of $106.8 million for 2014, up 13.8% from 2013’s net profit of $93.8 million.
