Wolfgang has nearly 40 years of experience in the tourism field in Africa, especially the East African markets of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, where he covers all aspects of safari operations, hotel operations and air operations for his own blog and third party publications. He has lived in Uganda since the early 1990s and alongside his writing provides quality consulting and related services to a wide range of clients, mostly from the private sector.
Two years can be an eternity for a startup airline and there are examples in East Africa that some did not survive the first two months of operations before folding again. The same cannot be said for Fastjet, Tanzania which celebrating its second birthday.
