The UAVs, the first of which was purchased two years ago, have now been used at the site of 16 crashes around the U.K., said Stuart Hawkins, a senior inspector of air accidents, to delegates at the AAIB’s centenary conference at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London Oct. 14.
