Based in London, Tony covers European defense programs. Prior to joining Aviation Week in November 2012, Tony was at Shephard Media Group where he was deputy editor for Rotorhub and Defence Helicopter magazines. Tony has covered avionics, unmanned vehicles, the supply chain and cyberwarfare.
Responding to questions in Parliament, defense equipment minster Philip Dunne told MPs that recent trials with the Honeywell Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System II (TCAS II) had found that more modifications were required to aircraft hardware and software to ensure compatibility with Tornado avionics.
