FAA issues warning on recalled Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on aircraft

FAA has warned airline passengers not to use Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices on board aircraft following the suspension of sales of the smartphone because of fire fears.

KLM to start biofuel flights from LAX

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has signed a three-year contract with Los Angeles-based refinery AltAir Fuels and SkyNRG for the supply of sustainable biofuel on all flights between Los Angeles International Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
COMAC to launch C919 flight by year-end or early 2017

SWISS to maintain 2016 flight schedule despite CSeries delays
French all-business class carrier La Compagnie will suspend transatlantic service between London Luton and New York from Sept. 25, citing the fragile European economic climate.
Bombardier said it will deliver seven CSeries aircraft in 2016 instead of 15 as planned, citing Pratt & Whitney PW1500G geared turbofan (GTF) engine delivery delays.
