Aveos’s airframe division—after failing to attract a buyer—could be broken up and sold to six companies, while its component business has several interested buyers. The Canadian firm has asked for court approval to break the airframe division into 24 lots and sell them for a total of C$10.8 million ($10.6 million), according to a filing by the court-appointed chief restructuring officer (CRO) put in place after Aveos on March 19 shut down and sought protection under Canada’s Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.
