Bombardier's New Assembly Plant On Track For 2023

Bombardier’s new 770,000 sq. ft., $400 million manufacturing center at the Toronto Pearson International Airport, announced in 2019, is on track for completion in 2023, the company said during a recent local event. The facility will include features to lower energy consumption by nearly 60% by using natural and more efficient lighting elements, newer heating methods and updated processing elements. As a result, greenhouse emissions will be cut by more than half, the company says. The manufacturing process will also use less water. Credit: Bombardier
