Dassault Aviation plans to open a new company-owned service center at Catarina International Executive Airport near Sao Paulo, Brazil, in early 2024.
The service center, which will replace the current facility in Sorocaba, will total nearly 40,000 ft.², large enough to hold up to five Falcon business jets at a time. It will also be large enough to hold Dassault’s new Falcon 10X ultra-long-range jet, the company says.
The facility will hold repair station certifications from Brazil’s Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil (ANAC), the FAA and EASA and airworthiness authorities in Argentina, Bermuda and Uruguay.
The center will perform line maintenance up to “B” level checks for the Falcon 7X and Falcon 2000 family aircraft registered in Brazil. It will also perform pre-purchase evaluations, line maintenance and most major inspections for the Falcon 50, 900 and 2000 series models and the Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X. The facility will also provide engine line maintenance on CFE-738, Honeywell TFE731 and Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A, PW307D and PW308C engine models. And it will support an Aircraft On Ground “Go Team” for rapid mobile response.
