LAN Airlines said Thursday that Chile’s Supreme Court has confirmed Chilean antitrust tribunal TDLC’s approval of the carrier’s proposed merger with Brazil’s TAM under LATAM Airlines Group, though the court rejected LAN’s appeal of three of the 14 conditions imposed on the merger by TDLC.

AFI KLM E&M won a long-term contract from Atlas Air covering repairs and general component overhauls on a flight-hour basis for its fleet of Boeing 747-400s. It also has a contract with TAB Airlines for the supply of a spare lease engine plus an engine shop visit for its DC-10F. Lufthansa Technik AG has renewed its Total Component Support TCS contract with Airbus SAS covering its Beluga fleet of five A300-600 ST aircraft until 2025.
