FRANKFURT - Norwegian is moving ahead with drastic proposals to ensure sufficient liquidity over the coming winter. The low-cost carrier is requesting an extension of around two years for the maturity of two bonds and is negotiating better terms with aircraft lessors. The airline said it is “executing on its strategic plan from growth to profitability and cash generation” and wants to “ensure successful operations and adequate liquidity headroom.”
