U.S., Europe Leading Utilization Recovery | 民間機の稼働回復を主導するアメリカとヨーロッパ

海外旅行がほとんど行われていないにもかかわらず、旅客機の稼働状況は現在アメリカが世界トップレベルにある。今や国内線の需要回復により、コロナ危機以前の約80％の水準に達している。一方、ヨーロッパはまだ以前の50％程度ではあるが、底を打って回復しつつある。欧米ともに、夏場は回復が続くことが見込まれている。

中東および中南米もここ数ヶ月で若干の回復を見せており、良い方向に向かっている。

一方、中国やアジア太平洋地域では、いわゆる第5波による感染拡大を受けて再び渡航制限が行われ、回復に遅れが出ている。アジアでは、国内線の路線網を拡充させた中国だけがコロナ危機以前の稼働状況に回復しているという状況だ。

Despite the lack of international travel, the utilization rates in the U.S. is currently top in the world. It has recovered to about 80% of pre-COVID levels, mostly due to domestic demand. Europe, while only at about 50% of pre-pandemic levels, has also finally come up from the bottom. Both regions are expected to continue growing over the summer months.

The Middle East and Latin America are also headed in the right direction, growing slightly in recent months. 

On the other hand, the recovery for China and Asia Pacific have taken a hit due to a rise in cases and reintroduction of travel restrictions in the region. Still, China remains the only region that has recovered to pre-pandemic levels of utilization due to domestic route development.
