Aviation Week’s 2023 Fleet & MRO Forecast predicts that commercial MRO demand in Poland will represent a value of $3.5 billion for the period of 2023-32.
Engine maintenance work has the highest share of 45%, around $1.6 billion of the total commercial demand in the country. Components and line maintenance account for 23% & 21%, respectively, while airframe heavy and modifications will see demand around $199 million and $200 million, respectively.
According to Aviation Week’s data, C checks and engine overhauls will comprise the largest share of MRO shop visits in Poland for the period 2023-32, at 36% and 33%, respectively.
It is forecast that Poland will see a total demand of 381 C checks and 356 engine overhaul shop visits for the period 2023-32. Meanwhile, there will be a demand of 180 D checks and 154 engine LLP events in the country over the next decade.
