Lufthansa Cityline's retired CRJ700s dot the Arkansas countryside
A recent visit by Aviation Week to Suttgart, Arkansas, revealed yet another former Lufthansa Cityline CRJ700. Tail number D-ACPB, which arrived last week, is shown below awaiting part-out.

This aircraft joins D-ACPA and D-ACPG, both of which were flown farther north into Blytheville, Arkansas last year for part-out. Below is the remains of D-ACPA after being stripped of all useful parts.

Stuttgart is home to CAVU Aerospace which is in the process of parting out a handful of other airliners including a 747-400, a 767-300ER, some 737-300s and -500s (below), two ATR72s and two CRJ200s.

Interestingly, the photo below shows what it takes to house maintenance records for a 747-400 built 23 years ago. That's four LD-3s, or roughly 600 cubic feet of space.

And finally, this ex-Southwest 737 fuselage section just off the airport grounds has found a new purpose in life as a shed. Unfortunately, the house next to it has appears to have seen better days.
