Honeywell Weather Radar System License Agreement
Ontic has signed a license agreement with Honeywell for its legacy RDR-4A/-4B weather radar systems, which are installed on a wide range of commercial aircraft platforms. Ontic will provide support for the systems through its facilities and repair teams in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Lufthansa Technik Extends Philippine Airlines Partnership
Lufthansa Technik announced that it has extended its partnership with Philippine Airlines. It will provide component maintenance service for an additional set of Airbus A321 and A330 aircraft. 

Hutchinson Partners With SCS
Hutchinson has finalized a long-term component support agreement with Singapore Component Solutions (SCS). Under the agreement, SCS will provide support for engine and APU vibration isolation systems, engine component repairs, cabin interiors, and composite and structural repairs. 

Rolls-Royce Signs Total Care Agreement 
Rolls Royce and Azerbaijan’s Silk Way West Airlines have signed a TotalCare service agreement for Trent XWB engines. Under the agreement, the airline will have a secured cost of operating and maintaining Trent XWB engines through a dollar-per-flying-hour payment mechanism. 

LATAM To Add Drone Aircraft Inspection 
LATAM Group announced plans to extend its use of Donecle’s drone-based aircraft inspection technology to its MRO facility in Chile. According to LATAM, the technology makes the process 12 times faster than the traditional inspection.

AEI Receives STC Approval From ANAC
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) announced that Brazil’s Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil has approved its STC for the B737-800SF freighter conversion. AEI has also gained approvals for the conversion from regulators in the U.S., Europe, UK, China, Canada, Cayman Islands and Guernsey. 

Berry Aviation Selects Rusada Envision Software
American charter airline Berry Aviation has signed up for Rusada’s Envision software to manage its airworthiness and maintenance. The airline selected six of the software’s modules, including Fleet Management, Base Maintenance and Inventory Management. 

Muirhead Avionics Introduces SDR-OMNI Flight Line Test
Muirhead Avionics, a subsidiary of Ametek MRO, has secured the distribution rights for the SDR-OMNI all-in-one flight line test set. Steve Wells, managing director and divisional vice president of Muirhead Avionics, says the device will be a “game changer for the avionics testing.”

GATES Appoints New SPAH Managing Director
GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) has appointed Bradley Carucci as managing director of its U.S.-based Specialized Procedures Aeroengine Hospital (SPAH) in Ohio.

Magnetic Trading Extends Partnership With Lufthansa Technik
Magnetic Trading has signed a long-term landing gear lease agreement with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK. It covers the exchange or lease of one Boeing 737-800 low cycle first overhaul landing gear set.
