Collins Expands Ameco Support Agreement
Collins Aerospace has expanded its 10-year On-Site Support agreement with Ameco for Air China’s fleet, adding support for Collins’ Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) and other generators for multiple aircraft platforms. Collins will extend its onsite inventory management services to all of Ameco’s IDG and generator capabilities
Air Caledonie Extends ATR Maintenance Agreement
Air Caledonie has signed a five year Global Maintenance Agreement extension with ATR covering pool and repair for line replaceable units (LRU) for its four ATR 72-600 aircraft. The extension will see additional LRU part numbers and propeller services added into the contract.
AAR Launches USM Sustainability Initiative
AAR has announced plans with Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure Investors to contribute a percentage of all used serviceable material sales from their CFM56-5B and -7B partnership to purchase verified carbon offsets and grant them to the purchasing customers. AAR says the initiative aims to help customers reduce their carbon footprint.
Triumph Extends MTU Repair Management Agreement
Triumph Group’s Product Support site in Grand Prairie, Texas has extended a repair management agreement with MTU Maintenance. Under the agreement, it will continue to be a repair services supplier for engine accessories and line replacement units applicable to the V2500, CFM56, CF6 and CF34 engine platforms.
AerFin Acquires Airbus A319 for Part-Out
AerFin has purchased its 20th Airbus A320 family aircraft. The A319-111 will be parted out for spares, which it says will enhance its extensive stock of Airbus A318, A319 and A320 material support to new and existing customer programs.
IAI Signs A330-300 Cargo Conversion Agreement With Avolon
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has signed an agreement with aircraft leasing company Avolon to convert 30 Airbus A330-300 aircraft from passenger to cargo configuration between 2025-28. Avolon is IAI’s first customer for cargo conversions of this aircraft model and it plans to “fully take part in the aircraft conversion and licensing process.”
AeroParts Now Integration Agreement with PartsBase
AeroParts Now has signed an advanced integration agreement with PartsBase that allows its customers to gain enhanced visibility on the PartsBase marketplace. AeroParts Now customers that have enabled integration with PartsBase will now be able to enhance their published parts in order to appear higher in rankings on the PartsBase part locator system.
Jet Parts Engineering Gets FAA Approval on New PMA Parts
Jet Parts Engineering and its subsidiary Aero Parts Mart have received FAA approval on 18 new parts manufacturer approval (PMA) parts, including Boeing 747/767 aileron lockout switches, 737 wingtip and strobe lens hardware, an Airbus A320 flow control valve diaphragm and Embraer E170 inlet cowl temp sensor gaskets and transcowl seals.
MTU Maintenance Zhuhai Inducts First GTF Engine
MTU Maintenance Zhuhai, which joined the Pratt & Whitney GTF MRO network in December 2020 as its first active GTF MRO facility in China, has inducted its first GTF engine for overhaul. It is one of several facilities in Asia supporting the GTF MRO work, including Eagle Services Asia in Singapore and IHI in Japan.
GAMECO Extends Satair Inventory Agreement
Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co. (GAMECO) has extended its long-term agreement with Satair for the Airbus Managed Inventory (AMI) service. The MRO became Satair’s first customer in China for the AMI solution five years ago. Satair says the AMI service has helped GAMECO reduce AOG order rate, and increase material availability and planning accuracy.
