The prestigious Aviation Week Laureate Awards, which recognize extraordinary achievements in the aviation industry, will include an MRO category for the first time to recognize aftermarket excellence.
Nominations for the 66th annual Laureates are due by Oct. 23.
MRO category nominations can recognize achievements in areas such as new products/service, electronics/avionics, leadership, operations, propulsion, safety, strategy, sustainability and technology/innovation.
Strong contenders should clearly show how the accomplishment demonstrates innovation, impact, contribution and uniqueness. Award winners inspire others to strive for progress, change and leadership in aviation and aerospace.
The Laureate Awards also including categories for business aviation, commercial, defense, space and extraordinary achievement.
The formal Laureate Awards ceremony will be held in the National Building Museum in Washington, DC on March 14 and will be attended by industry leaders.
