FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-15-06 for all Engine Alliance GP7270s, GP7272s and GP7277s, requiring inspection of the stage 6 seal ring for correct installation and inspection of the high-pressure compressor stages 2-5 spool for cracks and, depending on the results of the inspections, replacement of the compressor stages 2-5 spool with a part eligible for installation, plus reducing the inspection interval and adding a repetitive inspection and a mandatory terminating action, effective August 30, 2019.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-16-01 for all International Aero Engines V2525-D5s and V2528-D5s, requiring initial and repetitive inspections of the affected turbine exhaust cases, and, depending on the results of the inspections, its replacement with a part eligible for installation, effective September 19, 2019.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-15-09 for certain Bombardier DHC-8-400s, requiring repetitive inspections of the outboard spoiler actuator mounting brackets, replacement of any cracked bracket, and eventual replacement of all brackets with a re-designed part that would terminate the repetitive inspections, effective September 19, 2019.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-16-04 for all Engine Alliance GP7270s and GP7277s with a certain engine 1st-stage low-pressure compressor rotor assembly, requiring a visual inspection of the engine fan hub assembly for damage, a one-time eddy current inspection of the fan hub blade slot bottom and blade slot front edge for cracks, and removal of parts if damage or defects are found, and an independent inspection of the engine fan hub assembly prior to reassembly of the engine fan hub blade lock assembly, effective August 30, 2019.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-14-12 for certain Boeing 737-8s and 737-9s, requiring a maintenance records check to determine if any main slat track assembly has been removed, an inspection of the main slat track assemblies for a suspect lot number or a lot number that cannot be determined, and applicable on-condition actions, effective August 30, 2019.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-14-15 for all Boeing 737-100s, -200s, -200Cs, -300s, -400s and -500s, requiring repetitive inspections for cracking of the webs of the stub beams at certain fuselage stations and applicable on-condition actions, plus repetitive inspections to include certain other fuselage stations for cracking of the stub beams, repetitive inspections for existing repairs at certain locations, and applicable on-condition actions, effective September 19, 2019.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-15-08 for all Airbus A300 B2s, A300 B4s, A300 B4-600s and A300 B4-600Rs and A300 F4-605Rs, requiring repetitive inspections for cracking of certain fittings, corrective action if necessary, and, for certain airplanes, a modification specified in an EASA airworthiness directive, effective September 19, 2019.
