FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2022-25-01 for all Boeing 707s and 727s, requiring, for 707s repetitive detailed inspections of the center wing box lower skin for cracking and repetitive high frequency eddy current and ultrasonic inspections of the rear spar lower chord at a certain position for cracking, repetitive sealant application and repair if necessary; and, for 727s, repetitive detailed inspections of the center wing box, lower skin, and rear spar lower chord at a certain location for cracking, repetitive sealant application and repair if necessary, effective Feb. 16, 2023.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2022-27-06 for certain Embraer ERJ 190-100 STDs, -100 LRs, -100 ECJs, -100 IGWs, -200 STDs, -200 LRs and -200 IGWs, requiring installing updated Primus EPIC software, effective Feb. 16, 2023.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-25-03R1, removing airworthiness directive 2020-25-03, which applied to all Airbus A320-family aircraft and required repetitive checks of the pressure gauges to determine the amount of pressure on the inflation reservoir of each emergency escape slide and raft because the unsafe condition no longer exists, effective Jan. 12, 2023.
