FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-10-06 for all Airbus A330-200 freighters, -200s, -300s, A340-200s, -300s, -500s and -600s, requiring identification of certain inboard flap parts, a one-time eddy current inspection to identify which material the parts are made of, and, depending on findings, replacement with serviceable parts and reducing the allowance for the installation of these parts under certain conditions, effective July 11, 2023.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-10-03 for all MHI RJ Aviation regional jet 700s, 701s, 702s, 550s, 705s, 900s and 1000s, revising the maintenance or inspection program to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations, effective July 11, 2023.
