The Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia has issued airworthiness bulletin 34-017, issue 2–19, Nov. 2021 in testing of ADS-B installations to provide guidance on this testing.

EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 21-169 for Airbus A330s and A340s, requiring inspection and replacement of main and center landing gear bogie pivot pins, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-0248 for Airbus A330s, implementing time limits and maintenance checks for airworthiness limitations section part 3, certification maintenance requirements, effective Nov. 29, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-21-02 for certain Airbus A318s, A319s, A320s, A321s, A330-200s, -200 freighters, -300s, -800s, -900s, A340-200s, -300s, -500s, -600s and A380-800s, requiring replacing certain parts manufacturer approval nickel-cadmium batteries with serviceable batteries, or maintaining the electrical storage capacity of those PMA batteries during airplane storage or parking, effective Dec. 20, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-18-17 for certain Boeing 737-600s, -700s, -700Cs, -800s and -900s, requiring inspecting for part numbers of the operational program software of the flight control computers and installing and testing an updated version of the software, and updating the version of the software if necessary, effective Dec. 20, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-21-13 for certain Rolls-Royce Deutschland Trent 1000s, requiring the operator to revise the airworthiness limitation section of their existing approved aircraft maintenance program by incorporating the revised tasks of the applicable time limits manual for each affected engine, effective Dec. 2, 2021.
