The Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia is renewing CASA EX70/19, Implementation of Drug and Alcohol Management Plans for Non-DAMP organizations Instrument 2019, which is due to expire on Sept. 30, 2021.

FAA has issued special airworthiness information bulletin AIR-21-15 R1 for 328 Support Services 328-100/-300, Yaborã Indústria Aeronáutica EMB-135ER/-135LR/-135BJ/-135KE/-135BJ/-135KL/-145/-145ER/-145MR/-145LR/-145XR/-145MP/-145Ep and other non-commercial aircraft having a Honeywell Primus II radio system with radio management unit 855 installed, warning of the potential for inadvertent disabling of the automatic dependent surveillance–broadcast out function. This bulletin is revised to remove certain airplanes from the applicability, and at this time, the airworthiness concern is not an unsafe condition that would warrant airworthiness directive.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-18-02 for certain Fokker F28 Mark 0070s and 0100s, requiring a one-time inspection of the forward bulkhead for cracking, repair if necessary and a report of inspection results, effective Sept. 30, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-18-04 for all Airbus A320 family aircraft, requiring repetitive cleaning and greasing of leaking cargo door seals, replacing the forward, aft and bulk cargo compartment door seals with new seals, and installing a placard on the forward, aft and cargo compartment doors; and, for certain airplanes, implementing an operational limitation for certain routes, effective Oct. 20, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-19-10 for certain International Aero Engines PW1122G-JMs, PW1124G1-JMs, PW1124G-JMs, PW1127G1-JMs, PW1127GAJMs, PW1127G-JMs, PW1129G-JMs, PW1130G-JMs, PW1133GA-JMs and PW1133G-JMs, requiring removing certain high- pressure turbine 1st-stage and 2nd-stage disks from service, effective Sept. 27, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-18-05 for certain Rolls-Royce Deutschland Trent 1000s, requiring initial and repetitive ultrasonic or visual inspections of certain intermediate-pressure compressor stage 1 rotor blade root, stage 2 rotor blade root and shaft stage 2 dovetail posts until replacement of the stage 1 and stage 2 rotor blades with redesigned stage 1 and stage 2 rotor blades in kitted sets, effective Oct. 21, 2021.

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2021-31 for MHI RJ Aviation RJ 900s, requiring inspection of lower wing plank, effective Sept. 28, 2021.

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2009-29R3 for De Havilland Aircraft of Canada DHC-8-401s and 402s, requiring modifications to the nose landing gear shock strut assembly and other actions, effective Sept. 29, 2021.
