Jetstar Asia Expands ST Engineering A320 MRO Partnership
Jetstar Asia has expanded its partnership with ST Engineering through the signing of new maintenance agreements.
The Singapore-based airline has penned contracts with the MRO provider including a new three-year line and base maintenance service agreement and a multi-year component repair service agreement for support of its Airbus A320 fleet.
Under the terms of the component repair services agreement, ST Engineering will provide Jetstar Asia with repair management services through its in-house component repair and overhaul facilities and global repair network.
Jetstar Asia operates seven A320-200 aircraft from its hub at Singapore Changi Airport.
The low-cost carrier's head of engineering, Ang Chee Keong says of the deals: “Jetstar Asia was delighted to renew the new line maintenance services agreement with ST Engineering and is confident the new component repair services agreement would further strengthen the long-standing relationship. For more than a decade, ST Engineering has helped us build a strong record in maintaining our A320.”

During the pandemic, ST Engineering continued to support Jetstar Asia to ensure the safety of the fleet. Now with the rising demand, the airline is confident of improving its operations and fleet safety at low operating costs by continuing the collaboration with ST Engineering.
ST Engineering has been providing line and base maintenance and engineering support to Jetstar Asia since 2013.
