StandardAero has extended its MRO support of Pratt & Whitney Canada APS 2300 auxiliary power units (APU) following two recent agreements.

Embraer has selected StandardAero to provide MRO services for APS 2300 APUs enrolled in its Pool Program, as well as associated APS 2300 line replaceable units (LRU). The APU type equips the OEM’s family of E-Jet E1 regional aircraft.

Under the agreement, StandardAero will provide MRO services from its OEM-approved authorized repair facility in Maryville, Tennessee. The agreement extends long-term support agreement with Embraer for the APU type, originally signed in 2010.

Last month StandardAero also extended a contract with Austrian Airlines to support APS 2300 APUs installed on its fleet of 17 Embraer E195 regional jets. The exclusive multi-year contract extends its initial support agreement with Austrian Airlines, signed in 2007.

According to StandardAero, Embraer has also asked it to participate in engine LRU opportunities on its E-Jet E2 family. The MRO says it is also looking at engine LRU opportunities on Embraer Tucano family aircraft.
