Bombardier teams with Panasonic to offer inflight global connectivity

Bombardier Aerospace has installed satellite-based Ku-band antenna on CSeries flight test vehicle one.  This installation will offer inflight global connectivity as a line-fit option for the first time on a single-aisle aircraft. The Panasonic eXConnect system allows operators of the CSeries aircraft to provide passengers with a wide range of connectivity solutions including internet browsing, incoming and outgoing email, mobile telephony as well as live television content from both satellite or ground reception.

Associated Air Center receives Wi-Fi STC approval for Boeing 737 VVIP Aircraft

Associated Air Center, StandardAero’s large transport category VIP completion center in Dallas, has received STC approval for multiple Wi-Fi solutions for the satcom direct router. This router is applicable for Boeing  737-300, -400, -500, -600, -700, -800, -900, and -900 ER series aircraft.
 

Greenwich Aerogroup signs new dealer for LiveAero

Greenwich AeroGroup signed Navicom Aviation, an avionics systems and flight-following solution provider to the Japanese market for LiveAero Broadband SARCOM systems. LiveAero is a fixed wing and rotocraft data broadband solution for passengers requiring smartphone, tablet or laptop connectivity.
