EBACE 2022: In Development

Two significant, large business jets are a focus of interest and speculation in the EBACE static park—one American, one European. Each is progressing towards certification, although both manufacturers are struggling with their schedule.
Dassault claims its Falcon 6X to be first in a new category: the ultra widebody business jet, its cabin being the tallest and one of the widest in business aviation. Furthermore, its 5,500nm (10,186 km) range and top speed of Mach 0.90 reportedly can connect every major business center, while opening up a wider world of comfort. Certification is now due in 2023, as Dassault’s suppliers are grappling with the impact from the pandemic.
Gulfstream Aerospace flight testing for the new G700 involves the majority of sorties using sustainable aviation fuel. Five out of the six aircraft participating in the flight test program have used the 83 percent fuel blend on every flight. Customer deliveries were due to begin in the fourth quarter of this year but Gulfstream executives recently suggested FAA-required software changes could make the program slip by 3-6 months.
