Dassault claims its Falcon 6X to be first in a new category: the ultra widebody business jet, its cabin being the tallest and one of the widest in business aviation. Furthermore, its 5,500nm (10,186 km) range and top speed of Mach 0.90 reportedly can connect every major business center, while opening up a wider world of comfort. Certification is now due in 2023, as Dassault’s suppliers are grappling with the impact from the pandemic.

Customer deliveries were due to begin in the fourth quarter of this year but Gulfstream executives recently suggested FAA-required software changes could make the program slip by 3-6 months.
