Prestigious MRO Awards Presented At MRO Americas

DALLAS—Three aviation luminaries received prestigious awards during Aviation Week’s MRO Americas. 

Aviation Week Network presented the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award to Mick Adams, a 40-year industry veteran. He rose from an apprentice to eventually take on leadership roles of Monarch Aircraft Engineering, Etihad Engineering and most recently, STS Aviation Services, where he oversees their operations in Europe as CEO.

In addition, Airlines for America’s Engineering, Maintenance and Materiel Council presented its 56th Nuts and Bolts awards to Michael Moore and Paul McGraw.

Moore, recently retired senior VP maintenance operations & MRO services, Delta TechOps, was honored for his “28-year career with airlines, MROs and industry advisory services, including oversight of daily operations, with demonstrated excellence in maximizing profitability and performance, resulting in industry leading operational reliability.” 

In the non-airline category, Paul McGraw, recently retired A4A VP operations and safety, won for “his commitment to safety, maintenance and engineering, supporting and fostering the transformation of the industry through 45 years of dedicated service on behalf of America’s major airlines.”
