Paul Galleberg has been appointed VP-legal affairs and John McDonald VP-corporate communications at US Airways. Galleberg was general counsel, chief operating officer and principal at Berylian Capital. McDonald was director of operations and hub communications at United Airlines.

James L. Klein (see photo) has joined TriQuint Semiconductor, Hillsboro, Ore., and Richardson, Texas, as VP and general manager of its defense and aerospace business. He comes from Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems division.

Eric Lugger (see photo) has become director-safety at Landmark Aviation in Houston. A former U.S. Army helicopter pilot, he was corporate safety manager for an air ambulance operator with more than 300 aircraft.

R. Neelakanthan is the new CFO of Mumbai, India-based SpiceJet, succeeding Seema Chandra, who has resigned.

Franz Gilbert (see photo) has been named director of human resources technologies at Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Ga. He was regional VP at RiseSmart.com and had been a director at Affiliated Computer Services and Hewitt Associates.

Igor Y. Ozar has been appointed board chairman of Moscow-based JSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft. He was director general of corporate finance and CEO of the Sukhoi Design Bureau.

Erin Moseley is the new senior VP-government relations for BAE Systems, Arlington, Va., succeeding Bob Fitch, who plans to retire. Moseley was special adviser to the deputy director for the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. Paul Falkler has been named VP/general manager and Michael Reiners director of cybercrime analysis and investigations for BAE Systems' Information Technology & Cybersecurity. Falkler was VP/general manager for cybersecurity solutions. Reiners worked for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

Clement Greek has been appointed director of Army aviation and unmanned aircraft systems initiatives for Kratos Technology & Training Solutions of San Diego. He was senior director for business development for unmanned systems.

USAF Brig. Gens. Rowayne A. Schatz, Jr., John F. Thompson and Joseph S. Ward, Jr., have been selected for promotion to major general. Schatz is director of strategic plans, requirements and programs at Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, Ill. Thompson is program executive officer for strategic systems at the Aeronautical Systems Center of Air Force Materiel Command, Kirtland AFB, N.M. And, Ward is director of budget operations and personnel in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller at the Pentagon.

Suzanne Goin (see photo) is the newest member of Singapore Airlines' International Culinary Panel. She is co-proprietor of Los Angeles restaurants Lucques, A.O.C. and Tavern.

Helmut Hederer has been promoted to managing director from head of development of TDW, Schrobenhausen, Germany, succeeding Helmut Muthig, who has retired. Hederer was general manager of Taurus System, where he oversaw production of German and Spanish Taurus guided missiles.

Christopher Carmody (see photo) has joined Executive AirShare, Kansas City, Mo., as sales director for Missouri and Northeast Kansas. He has worked for Southwest Airlines and Kansas Air Center.

Reed Stager has joined Flightcom, Portland, Ore., as executive VP. He was CEO of Pinnacle Licensing Group of San Francisco.

Bel Lazar has been appointed president/chief operating officer of API Technologies Corp., Orlando, Fla. He was senior VP-operations at Microsemi Corp. and had been VP-aerospace defense at International Rectifier.
