Avelo Airlines

Airport management firm Avports is teaming with startup Avelo Airlines to upgrade Connecticut’s Tweed New Haven Airport.

The carrier has turned its attention to southern California, where four new routes are being launched.

The carrier, which currently only serves the western US, will put money towards an ambitious modernization program at Tweed New Haven Airport.

The US startup expects to be in the air before the end of the month, flying to 11 leisure destinations from the LA airport.
