Zero Gravity Aircraft Industry has raised almost $14 million to fund development and flight testing of its ZG-T6 six-seat tiltrotor eVTOL aircraft

Aerofugia is a subsidiary of Chinese carmaker Geely.

The fund will be used for continued development of the AE200, a piloted four-passenger electric-vertical-takeoff-and-landing air taxi.

With eyes on the market inside and outside the country, Chinese eVTOL-makers are claiming low costs that could spell a challenge for their Western competitors.
