Securing air service to a hub is a key target for City of Derry (LDY) as the Northern Irish airport seeks to rebuild connectivity in the wake of the pandemic.
The carrier which pioneered cheap transatlantic flights between Europe and the US will now focus on short-haul routes as part of a plan to exit insolvency.
More routes are returning to Delta Air Lines’ long-haul network during the upcoming winter and summer seasons, but some destinations like Mumbai and Osaka are not currently scheduled to resume.
