GlobalX and Sheltair Aviation will build a new maintenance facility at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

The airline, formerly known as Enerjet, will operate a fleet of 46 737 MAX aircraft.

Carriers are hopeful that direct air service will resume in the coming months despite an ongoing federal prohibition on flights between the US and Venezuela.
