Aurimas Stikliunas, CEO of Lithuanian Airports, explains how Vilnius Airport plans to grow its total capacity to eight million passengers and grow its network.

A third aircraft will be based in Lithuania’s capital, while Wizz’s Abu Dhabi-based offshoot is starting flights to Bahrain.

From March 28, Vilnius flights will be brought into the arrangement.

The ACMI provider will operate Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Their new agreement covers routes from Latvia and Lithuania to Munich.

LCCs Ryanair and Wizz Air are the dominant players in Lithuania’s market, with most international traffic going through Vilnius.
