Boeing kicked off the third day of the Paris Air Show by confirming that Luxair will become the European launch customer of the yet-to-be certified 737 MAX 7.
With COVID-19 travel restrictions easing in parts of the world, airlines are gradually rebuilding their networks. Routes analyzes some of the services returning as well as new routes being launched. This week: airBaltic’s new route to Dublin; Air New Zealand resuming flights to Tokyo; and Luxair re-entering a market it last served in 2007.
The Luxembourg based cargo airline is expanding its services to Vietnam, with the addition of a second flight into Ho Chi Minh City, and a fourth frequency to Hanoi.
Luxair confirms relaunched service has been “widely used by business passengers, notably in the financial sector and fund industry” and was also popular with leisure passengers and Irish citizens living in Luxembourg.
